Sales Process Flowchart

A Sales Process Flowchart is used by sales team to document a process a lead goes through to become a customer.

A sales process is a step-by-step guide for selling your product or service to a customer. Sales processes are important because they help you stay organized, work more efficiently, and provide excellent customer service. The key components of a sales process are pre-sales, marketing, discovery, qualification, negotiation, post-sale follow up and management.

According to sales process best practices, there are six basic steps that need to be completed in order: prospecting, qualifying potential prospects, meeting with prospects and closing deals. Prospecting is the initial step and includes identifying possible prospects and researching them to see if they're a good fit for your company. Qualifying potential prospects is the second step where you identify which people or businesses are most likely to benefit from your product or service. Meeting with prospects and closing deals is the final step of the sales process where you speak with a prospect about all of the benefits of what you offer and try to get them excited about purchasing it.

There are many different approaches to sales process design. This article will focus on two common approaches: the process-centric approach and the customer-centric approach. The process-centric approach views the sale as a linear process where each step in the process leads to another. The customer centric approach, on the other hand, focuses on providing an experience for each individual customer rather than considering them as just another number or statistic along a path.
